Happy New Year friends!
.
Our Christmas decorations came down the day after Christmas (if I'm honest, some of it came down a few days before), because I couldn't handle all the dried greens making a mess, and I so look forward to starting fresh for a new year!

I did a little fluffing in our master bedroom, mostly motivated by finding a space for an awesome big floor mirror that hubs made for me for Christmas. I'm amazed at what that guy can create!

This hanging side table was a fun project that I blogged about last year. You can find the post here. And I am still loving the curtains, which I got from Kohls last year. You can find them here.

Here is the floor mirror I was telling you about. I've wanted one for years and am so thrilled to have one now!

This cute little side table is actually a sewing table I found for $7 at Goodwill last week. I was looking for a small make up table, and this one fits perfectly. I painted it white, gave it a little distressing, and it is just right. I love when that happens!
.
PS. Can you tell I am a make-up minimalist?? All the make-up I own fits in that little clear container I found at Ross. #imnotfancy

The bench is an antique from hubs's family. I painted it white and re-covered the top with a tea towel from World Market

I try to keep things super neutral and quiet-feeling in the bedroom, and that helps it feel like a calm, relaxing place to unwind in the midst of taking care of four little kids and running a business. It's my happy place!
