Our Christmas Family Room

I just finished up decorating our family room for Christmas and, as usual, I kept things neutral with lots of white and natural elements. Our stone fireplace is huge, and, honestly, I don't love it, because it tends to be very dark, but I decorated it with lots of white things to lighten it up.

I put a variety of candles along with a plant on the mantle and used flocked faux greens hung on the front of the beam. The white stockings are from Walmart and the mirror is from Marshall's.

We always get a real tree for the family room, and it smells so yummy in here! I decorate it mostly with white, gold, and silver ornaments. I put small artificial trees in the kids' rooms that they love to decorate with all their ornaments.

I put a simple garland on the stairway, which is in the back of the family room.
