Small Craft Storage Area

Lately I have been struggling with organizing all of my kids' many craft supplies. Anyone else have this issue? I used to keep it all in my studio, but I got tired of my studio looking like a war zone, so I decided to move it all. First, I went through all the supplies and threw away a lot of things that were old or not used. Then I put everything in a dresser that I put in a little niche by our stairway.

I found a super handy folder organizer that hangs on the wall, keeping the top of the dresser free for pencil/marker storage. Find the organizer on Amazon here. I use it for keeping all important school info for the kids.

The hook is from a set of three hooks from Target, and I found the light at Goodwill.

It's not the perfect spot, but I try to make use of every space I can in our small house, and this has worked well so far!
