I've been slowly working on my girls' room for the past few months and brought this crib-turned-daybed out of storage and put it in their room. I bought it at a yard sale probably eight years ago for $25 without knowing how I would use it. It wasn't functional to use as an actual crib. I just fell in love with the vintage metal frame and thought it was too sweet to pass up!

I took off the one long side and turned it into a daybed for the girls' room. The bedding is mostly Shabby Chic from Target, some found while thrifting and some on clearance. The sign is available here.

I'm so glad I didn't pass up the vintage crib, because it truly has turned into a treasure that I doubt I will ever let go! "Buy what you absolutely love and you'll find a place for it" - that is my motto!
