It’s been a while since I’ve done a “What I Wore” post and I have to admit, the longer I wait to post one, the more intimidated I get to show what I wear. Because let’s be honest, I am not a fashionista and most of my clothes come straight from the thrift store. But here I go again…

pink top: Target clearance / striped sweater: Goodwill / skirt: Old Navy / boots: Goodwill / necklace: homemade

Tip from this outfit: go to the hardware store and make yourself a simple, fun statement necklace in almost no time flat. See my tutorial here.

t-shirt: Walmart and painted by me / cardigan: H&M / skirt: Loft clearance / shoes & belt: Goodwill

Tip from this outfit: Goodwill has CUTE shoes and boots if you spend a little time looking. I’ve found many gems like this yellow pair.

wiw1dress: Anthropologie clearance / boots: Goodwill / necklace: Lisa Leonard Designs (gift from hubs)

Tip from this outfit: Look in the clearance section at Anthro and you might find a good deal like this dress. It was under $50, which is really good for Anthro. I rarely buy anything there because it’s so spendy, but I couldn’t pass this dress up.

dress, skirt under dress, cardi: Target clearance / boots & belt: Goodwill

Tip from this outfit: If a dress or skirt is too short, layer another longer skirt underneath it.

So there you have it friends. Run, don’t walk, to your nearest Goodwill or thrift store and find yourself a treasure! I’m linking up to Pleated Poppy’s “What I Wore” linky party.
