Vacation to Charleston

Hubs and I spent part of last week in Charleston, SC to celebrate our 15th anniversary, and we had such a great time! The city is beautiful, the beaches were so peaceful, but my favorite part? The people! They were so incredibly friendly! I had never visited the South before and it has a piece of my heart now!

Below are some pictures I took at Boone Hall Plantation, which is a spectacular property. The movie “The Notebook” was filmed here, along with many others.

We spent one afternoon just taking in all of the beautiful homes in historic Charleston. The streets are so pretty and full of charm!It was a wonderful getaway! I mean, getting to eat several meals in a row and spend time by ourselves with no one else to worry about? So awesome.  But we were excited to come home and squeeze our kiddos again! Now it’s back to work and grocery shopping and laundry and all that good stuff!
