Sweet Girl

During on of my recent nighttime feedings with Jack, I suddenly realized that my little girl is almost 3 years old. I’ve been so preoccupied with other things lately that I didn’t realize how “old” the number 3 sounds!
It means that she’s creeping closer and closer to 4 and then the magical age of 5 when Kindergarten begins!! And that thought made me lie awake and mull over in my mind what that will be like. For her and me.
And I got scared! I’m sure she will be fine, but I think I’ll be a wreck!
Wish we could hold onto the sweetness of the baby age for just a wee bit longer!
