Last week I hosted a garden party in our backyard to celebrate friendship and the first day of Autumn. And it was magical. We had beautiful warm weather, long conversations and lots of sweets to eat.
.
I used the greenhouse for the food area and it was so fun to put together. I don't particularly love cooking, but when I'm preparing food for a party, it's a whole different story. I love planning a menu and creating something special!

In case you are interested, here are some links to the recipes I used...
:: Apple Spice Cake
:: Peach Cobbler Coffee Cake
:: Chocolate Puddings
:: Veggie Platter
.
For beverages we had apple cider, sparkling elderflower juice (my very favorite) and iced coffee.
.
I borrowed some decor from my friends at Caroline's Rentals. If you live in my area and need decorations and supplies for an event, you must check them out!

Happy Fall!
