Mudroom Refresh for Fall

Every fall I go into organization mode and frantically do everything I can to make our lives more streamlined and ready for school to start. We did a quick little mudroom refresh a few weeks ago, and I'm hoping it will keep us more neat and tidy when we start using coats and boots and all that winter gear.

We have a good-sized mudroom that doesn't live up to its potential, so this winter we are hoping to do some more major work to it, including built-in cabinets for coats and shoes. The wall was originally an exterior wall that is stucco, and I'd like to cover it with shiplap. The mudroom and studio (which is right off the mudroom) were additions built on to the original house.

I found the lockers at a yard sale and painted them blue. The chair came from Goodwill and my husband built the wall hooks from reclaimed wood with hooks from Walmart.
