Don’t sit on your brother!

Oh, the things that have been coming out of my mouth in the past week! It’s been quite an adjustment adding a newborn to our mix, but today the sun is shining and I’m feeling optimistic that I can actually do this “mother of two” thing!

Baby Jack has been doing really well – he eats like crazy and I try to sleep whenever I can in between all the feedings. I’m recovering really well from my c-section and haven’t really had much pain since leaving the hospital.

Sometimes the feedings and diaper changing and listening to baby crying just seems so endless, but I know that this time will pass quickly.

I’m so thankful for all the friends and family who have been helping us in the past week with taking care of Avery, bringing us meals, and just giving us encouragement!
