Since it’s time to do a blog post but my mind is completely blank, I thought I’d fill out this little questionnaire from my new blog buddy Tricia’s site…

Happy reading!

Favorite person (outside family)? Wow, this is a hard one! I have some really good friends and they are all my favorites!

Favorite food? Ok, this is not a fair question to ask a pregnant woman! Right now, I’m into Lucky Charms, Twizzlers, and steak. I know, weird.

Quirks about you? Speaking of cereal, I always feel like I need to brush my teeth after eating a bowl. And I’ve been eating cereal a lot lately. Like, all day long.

Any regrets in life? Yeah, there are a few, but if you know me, you know that I’m way too private to share them on the world wide web!

Favorite Blog recently? The Nester is always a good one to read for decorating inspiration and a good laugh.

Worst job you’ve ever had? Washing dishes at a restaurant. Not really THAT much fun.

What job would you pay NOT to have? Being holed up in a cubicle with a bunch of people in a job that requires no creativity. I just couldn’t stand it.

Favorite Bible verse right now?

Phil. 4:11-13 (Message Bible)
I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I’m just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.

Got any confessions? Are you kidding? I’m perfect! What a dumb question.

If you HAD to spend $1,000 on YOURSELF, how would you spend it? Oh, man, let me think…since I’m in the preggers stage, I don’t really want clothes right now. Ooh, I got it. Maybe a plane ticket to go spend a weekend in Paris with some girlfriends! That sounds lovely. Course, $1000 probably wouldn’t go very far, but it’s ok to dream, right?

Favorite thing about your house? Since it’s an old house, it has loads of character. Like French doors, hardwood floors, built-in cabinets. It’s what made us fall in love with it, despite it’s very sad condition when we first bought it!

One thing you are bad at? Making phone calls. I seriously am the worst. I just can’t stand talking on the phone! (Hubs is the same way, so when the phone rings, we throw the phone at each other because we want the other person to answer it. I know, we’re weird.)

One thing you’re good at? I guess you could say I’m a goal-oriented worker bee. I don’t spend a lot of time sitting around, deciding what to do. I just do it. This is good in most areas, but gets me in trouble with the hubs when it comes to some home projects. Guess I need to think ahead a little more rather than just charging forward.

If you could change something about your circumstances, what would it be? I.am.content.with.my.life.
I.am.content.with.my.life.
I.am.content.with.my.life.

(if I say it over and over, will it come true?)

Who would you like to meet someday? All of my blogging friends!

Who is your real life hero? I have lots of friends who have faced major crisis in their lives and who still are thankful, joyful, and content to be where God has them. They are my heroes.

When are you most relaxed? When I am sitting on my couch, reading a good magazine, baby is in bed, and the house is quiet. What more could a girl want? Oh, well, maybe a piece of chocolate cake, now that I think about it.

What stresses you out? When I procrastinate on stuff…ooooh, I hate when I do that! Also, bad drivers, having to confront someone (I am such a wimp!), and being in a store with a cranky, tired two-year old.

Why do you blog? It’s fun to put my inspirations and thoughts into something concrete and share it with others. Although that can be intimidating too (at least for me).

Now it’s your turn to share!
