It's almost the beginning of July, so that means the July 4th holiday will be here before we know it! I gathered a few super easy but delicious recipes that you may want to try for your festivities.

First up: Turkey Picnic Sandwich with Raspberry Honey Mustard

This sandwich is so flavorful and just perfect for a picnic! The tangy sauce is my favorite part. Here are the ingredients:

Turkey Picnic Sandwich with Raspberry Honey Mustard

Ingredients:

:: Baguette (use a firm bread that doesn't fall apart too quickly)

:: 1 lb. turkey deli meat

:: 1 lb. sliced cheddar

:: Lettuce

:: Tomatoes

:: Raspberry jam

:: Honey mustard dressing

Start by slicing the bread in half horizontally like this...

Mix equal parts honey mustard and raspberry jam and spread on bread...

Then layer cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and turkey on the bread.

Cover the sandwich with the top bread piece, wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for four hours or overnight.

Then slice into individual serving pieces, wrap with parchment paper and tie with a string. So cute, right? And trust me, it may be a simple recipe but it is so good!

If you are wondering where the lettered tea towel is from, you can find it here.

And here is an easy and festive dessert idea:

July 4th Cheesecake Dessert

This is so simple that it's not really a recipe. It's just a matter of throwing a few ingredients together! Start with a pre-made cheesecake (or make one yourself), add blueberries and strawberries, and drizzle with strawberry syrup.

I'll be sharing how to make the "celebrate" chip bags in a blog post soon, so stay tuned!
