Gray skies and a rainy day. Perfection.

A little pony-tailed girl still in her fuzzy-feet pj’s and a barefoot boy.

Snuggly blankets, white slipcovered chairs, and a beautiful new pillow courtesy of my sister.
Perfect for curling up and day dreaming.

French cafe radio playing on Pandora. If I close my eyes tight enough, I can almost imagine I’m sitting in a Parisian cafe chatting with you over a croissant and some sort of delicious drink, and we would talk about how beautiful the city was and how we couldn’t believe we were actually there.

Fall ideas to plan and think about. I haven’t done a stitch of fall decorating yet.
Not one solitary thing. And I’m ok with that.

What we do every single morning. Stacks and stacks of books for the two littles after Avery hops on the bus.

And stacks and stacks of signs ready for shipping. Last night I counted 18 custom signs that were “in process” and propped all around the studio. Crazy-busy would describe my work life right now. But I really love it. I just have to work at not being overwhelmed by it all. I’m doing my best.

One.day.at.a.time.

I think I may just make myself a hot chocolate and curl up with my babies for a little while longer. Work can wait.

Have a great day, friends!
